Hesitation

I have an A6 '07 - when I back my car out of the driveway and put it into "D" and press the gas, the car momentarily hesitates and then lurks forward. Never have this problem otherwise - anybody else experience this? What's the cause?

Could have something to do with the cold weather and the engine not being up to full operating temperature. Can you try backing into your spot and driving out on the next outing?
