Paddle shift will not engage
I have a 2008 C6 coupe auto with paddle shift. Has been perfect until and could use some forum help.
I put it is S mode and the paddle shift is not available. Nothing displayed on the HUD. Can't shift up or down. Vette still moves as if it were in full auto mode. D or S no different. full auto only.... no paddle shift when moving shift lever to S. Paddles move but nothing is happening. Car is not stranded. Still drives ok in full auto. No codes thrown as no engine light and also called On Star and nothing they could diagnose.
Before I take it into the dealer I hope I can have some idea what might be wrong.

If you've got it well down into "S" mode and you've hit the paddles, the gear you're in should show up in the hud. I'd say you've got no choice but take it to the dealer. Hopefully, it'll be something minor they can find and correct. Don't have any other suggestions.
