Idle ground speed?
I recently bought a modded 07 A6. Car has intake, ported stock heads, cam, headers, hi-flow cats, and tune.
When idling the car wants to really take off when I let off the brake...especially in reverse. When coming to a stop I feel the car really fighting the brakes at low speeds. Car idles around 650rpm when in gear with the brakes on.
Sorry if this is a silly question...it's just this is the first car I've had with such an extensive amount of mods...so is this normal?
I'm assuming this is the result of an increased idle speed so the car doesn't stall with the cam.?.?
(edited for clarification)

Basically when I let off the brake the car will roll much faster than any other car I've had. In reverse it's even more apparent due to the shorter reverse gearing. I have to ride the brake hard to keep the reverse speed down.
Again I'm assuming it's because of the cam and it's need for a higher idle speed to prevent stalling....correct?.?.
Yah it's pretty crazy. I've never had a car that pins me to the seat like this one does when I get on it. The car doesn't care if I'm doing 20mph or 70mph...punch it and it just hunkers down and takes off like a bullet.
It would absolutely chew up and spit out my old lightly modded 350z...no comparison in power at all.
