Greetings,
As we all know gas prices are going up and up esp in Cali where its almost $4 already. i wanted to know what might help to improve the fuel efficency.
i installed Vavaram intake and now i am averaging from 17.9mpg to 20mpg.
i have new magnaflow, X pipe, 90mm mass air flow sencer, but the only thing that worked was Vavaram intake and when i had 160 stat installed.
i have heard the predator tuners as well as headers would help the fuel efficency. would you agree with it? and what are my other options?

Put the stock mass airflow sensor back on and check the mileage. That big one may be asking the system for more fuel than the engine really needs. Most everything I have read say the larger mass airflow sensors on a pretty much stock engine are just a waste of money. I have no personal experience as I do not intend to change mine. I get much better mileage than you are getting and everything under the hood is stock.
you guys are right about me buying a honda civic or that this car is not for fuel milage and stuff like that. but if i can increase HP with some fuel milage, i think its better. and thats what i was asking.
Vavaram does increase HP, but also fuel ecomomy. and therefore i wanna do mods that will do both, increase HP and fuel economy.
as much as it may sound funny, thats the way i look at it.
Lightweight forged wheels, lighter rotors, lightweight race seats, UD pulley, lightened flywheel, proper tire PSIs, keep the roof on... lighter right foot!
If you want to go even more extreme, start removing sound deadening, the stereo, nav, AC, etc. If you never use the washer fluid for the wipers, you can save a few pounds by draining that.

Don't forget nitrogen in the tires to float the car.
