I wanted to post a follow-up to my recent mods and level of customer service with both TJ @ RPM transmission and Ron @ Vengeance. My n ew gear was not perfoming the way I expected it to. It was whining and making a clicking noise when turning. I called both Ron and TJ to express my dissapointment with the gear. TJ, to my suprise, responded that he will send out a new gear right away (WOW). I called Ron to let him know and he responded "no problem I will call you when it comes in and we will make it right". I have to tell you that I was shocked at the responses.
I drop the car off at Vengeance to re-install the new gear and pick it up the next day and it is perfect! In addition Mike did a Dyno tune yielding 18 RWHP increase with only a catback, and CAI. needless to say I enjoyed the 80 cruise home.
Looking back had I dropped of the car the 1st time instead of waiting I probably would not have had any issues and they would have recognized the problem.
I am not employed or getting paid by either one of these guys I just feel that when you get great service and recovery of an issue you need to recognize the Company. I will be back for additonal mods!
Are the 6 Speed automatics as much of a dog off the line as the A4 ?
If you consider the A4 & A6 dogs you must think the M6 is a dog also.
Take a look at the posted 1/4 mile times in this Forum, you will want to delete your post.
Stock A4 & A6 have better 60 foot times and equal or better 1/4 mile times than the M6. The only place they are down is speed at the end of the !/4, the 10HP loss only shows with top speed.
