Default Active handling

When I got my 05 a couple months ago, the seller had just gotten the active handling TSB done. I knew from reading numerous posts here that was one of the things to watch for. Now about a thousand miles later, the active handling message comes on almost every time I drive it.

I pulled the lower panel and can see where it looks like they did the correct work with taping and tie wrapping the connector, it is now on top of the metal bracket and does not seem to move any with the telescoping column. There is another connector mentioned by a forum member lower on the column that plugs straight up into the lower column near the brake pedal. It seems to be pulling slightly when wheel is moved in and out. Is there a TSB for this connector also? Is this the steering position sensor? Car is out of warranty now. Thanks.......

I have an 05 coupe and had the fix done at the dealer last year. I just started to get the warning again a few days ago. I reset the steering wheel out (slightly closer to me) and have not had the warning for the last several days. So far so good. If you can be comfortable with this, perhaps it will solve the problem.

Thanks, I tried that. Thought there might be another simple solution.
