Default A6 fluid change

Hi: I have a 2006 A6 coupe and do regular maintenance. I believe in all fluid changes based on time/mileage. My 2006 has about 9,000 miles. My other cars have the fluids changed annually, with more miles accumulated. What do you guys do?

I live in the desert so I feel my driving is in the "extreme" catagory. I'll be changing out my fluid sooner than whats listed in the owners manual but havnt decided when yet......

Change oil every 5K and change AT, Diff, Radiator, Brake and Power Steering every 30K with AMSOIL products.

It made a big difference

The most notable changes were the clunkiness during shifts (MN6 trans) and the whine from the rearend are gone.

The technician showed me the clutch fluid which looked like coffee that has been burned into a black paste at the bottom of a coffee pot and scowled at me... I promised not to let it go that long again...

The A6 actually has a cleaning function that is done by the computer every XXX miles (didn't get all the details), and the techs actually told me the trans fluid should be good until 100,000 miles, but , as most people here will tell you, change it well before that, just as prevenative maintnace andto check for any possible damage, such as clutch dust or metal shavings.
