Money was with drawn by paypal. On the 17th. Today they stopped payment. TODAY! Because on a different transaction THREE DAYS later.
I used a a new atm card. They deposit a small amont and make you tell them back the amont. It didn't post the first day so I deposited money directly to a members reginal bank acct pay for a new top.
Now paypal has my money and I have a member not happy.Neither am I. I called paypal and gave them 24 hrs to put the money back or I'll take 10G's
to lawyers office. They stink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called back and asked for there legal dept. I got a head cheese to release payment to Steve and deposit back the 980. they were holding from the second transaction. After I said 10 thousand retainer is going to the lawyer NOW If you don 't fix this NOW, They fixed it! After 3 people and 3 calls said there was nothing they could do!

I sold wheels to a guy who just got scammed the week before back in '05. He wanted wheels, up front, and I wanted cash up front. Almost an impasse.
Almost. I found a place called escrow.com. You set it up with them, buyer and seller. Buyer sends cash, ck, credit card, etc. to escrow.com. Seller sends wheels. Buyer looks at them; if he doesn't like, he sends them back, at his expense.
If he does like, he notifies escrow. Escrow releases cash to seller. Nominal, very nominal charges for PEACE OF MIND. $750 or so dollars worth of it. And my buyer was already out about $800!!!
What other options do we have??? I hate it as well and would love to change, but they kind of have us over a barrel...
I hear ya. I fully enjoy all the powers of modern technology. Why wait for weeks when it can be done in minutes. Personally I have not had an issue with them and I sure hope I don't. Well I take that back, the paying them 3% thing really pisses me off.
