Default Headers and air intake ???????

If I put on LT headers and new cats with air intake, will I also
need a tune for it to work. And what headers and intakes get
the most hp, it's an 05. Thanks for any info.

I have the Kooks 1 7/8" headers with the catted x-pipe and a WCC Hurricane intake.

I would definitely recommend a tune. Some have said you'll start throwing codes without one, but I'm not sure if that's true.

My setup is making 380.8rwhp and 378.8rwtq
That's with the Headers, Hurricane, and tune. I'm running the stock mufflers.

Good luck with the decision!

I started throwing codes for the 02 sensors after about 30 miles after putting on my LGs. So I got an e-mail tune to get rid of the CEL.

Your Vette will 'work' without a new tune, but it won't really maximize the increased efficiency. Since the computer controls all aspects of the engine, it needs to be told what it is looking for to better use the new resources.

I used a Diablo Predator to tune mine after the headers and CAI, while it is good enough, and certainly better than no tune at all - with next mod I'll get a custom dyno tune.
