Default CEL and DTC U0001, Weird Electrical Problems

My 2005 C6 starting acting strange on Saturday as I was driving along. DIC message says "Shocks Inoperative" and I don't have electronic shocks (damn car must be psychic if it can diagnose a set of Koni FSD shocks), then the gas guage goes from half tank to empty in two seconds, then DIC message is "Service ABS", then "Service Fuel System".

I reach my destination, turn off the car (in reverse) and the car stays in Accessory mode, and the doors do not unlock. So I push the stop engine button again and Accessory mode turns off and the doors unlock.

When I return to the car 15 minutes later, I start the car and the Check Engine Light is on. Had a friend pull the code and it is U0001. I cannot find this code anywhere. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Thanks for all the replies. The car has the original battery, so that might be an issue. I will get the alternator checked next time the car is at the dealer.
