Default Kooks LT headers installed this week

Here's some pics of my new headers installed this week. (bought Kooks 1 3/4 LT headers from Maryland Speed with Precision Motorsports' red 2000 degree ceramic coating. The headers added a deeper growl to my Corsa sports.

Don't know if this was just by coincidence, but most of the notchiness of the MN6 shifter has disappeared. Anyone have any professional opinions/explanations for this. Sure is a nice side benefit.

Also, will there be any problem if I don't get a tune for a few months? I thought about waiting until I go to Corvettes at Carlisle in August. East Coast Supercharging had a very special deal on tunes there last year.

It took me 50 miles before it threw the CEL. Even though I had the rear sensors connected, it still got the code. A tuner can shut it off.

Mine came on about 200 miles after the install. I was actually headed to the tuner when they came on...lol

Same here. I've erased the codes a couple of times, but they came back after about 30 miles. Looks like a tune is in my future.

I received codes within the first 30 miles or so also, but I got rid of them when I installed the header tune from the Predator.

Looks great. On a car where it does not clash, the red coating is simply awesome!

Better yet, the red coating is one of the ones you can get for free with our coating sale here-

no, you shouldn't have any problems waiting a bit before you get it tuned. i've had my headers on for about two years (jet hot coated), hi-flow cats, etc, etc. haven't gotten around to getting her tuned, yet, and don't have any codes.
