Default AHS in Comp mode = faster??

Will competition mode give you faster accel times vs. full AHS??

Seems to me, wheel spin would hinder flat out acceleration--

I don't get it. Can someone explain? thanks.

TC really slows ya down ,as ya get to know the car you can do better with TC off. as far as AH you really REALLY have to know the car to get yer butt out of trouble.at the drags i run both off,on the street i rarely touch the double death button

It depends on tires and road surface buy a Gtech and test it on with your combo to know for sure

If you have too much tire spin TC on should be faster.

I always drive around in comp mode....it's part of my 'turning the car on' ritual.

1) open door
2) shut door
3) seatbelt
4) turn car on
5) turn comp mode on

If you notice, you can really feel the power die off towards the top with TC on, almost as though its reving but not going anywhere. Hence more reason to keep it off... Just dont floor it in 90* turn and you should be fine

Once you become proficient in performance driving in your vette on the road courses - you'll be much faster with both the AH and TC turned off. The car becomes much more predictable under more "extreme" driving conditions. All you need is the ABS. However, I leave TC/AH on for daily driving, especially when its raining. Mike

yes and no, it depends.

t/c limits wheel spin by reducing engine output (a/h uses the brakes instead).

if all you did was stomp and stand on the 'go fast pedal' t/c enabled will provide better acceleration (it'll peddle for you )

on the other hand, t/c off will permit you to take it to the edge (of traction) and peddle it yourself.
