Default Marker / signal lite problem
This has happened to me 4 times. Left signal goes out and dashboard starts the quick time signal to let me know. Before I can get a new bulb, usually a couple of days, it fixes itself. Months go by and then it happens again. Once it happened after I pulled out of a carwash, but I don't think it is a water problem. Any ideas ? Thanks.

when it does it again leave the signal on ,pull over and look to see which bulb is not working

Try dielectric grease on the electrical connections...
