How does the oil cooler flow works on the Z51 and Z06 corvettes. Does the oil pressure just push it from the adapter on the oil pan through the lines to the cooler? Just curious. And if there were a restriction in the cooler lines would the oil pressure (on the gauge) increase? I wouldn't think so.
Also has anyone noticed the oil cooler lines on the 08 Z51 are opposite the Z06...meaning the line that comes out of the pan labeled bottom is actually the top on the Z51. The repair manual doesn't show the diagram for the Z51 either, only the Z06. Just curious if anyone else had noticed.
