Question for those that have ordered Kooks headers and midpipe....??
I just received my ordered Kooks headers and catted midpipe. The package with the headers do not appear very badly beaten up during transport. The issue is the package with the catted midpipe. This package seems very weak, and purely packaged. It seems like it has been through several war zones. It seems that UPS had to reseal the box with duct tape, as it is badly damaged with holes, and coming apart. Have others experienced similar issues? Also, there is no foam or protective plastic around the pipes, so it must have taking a beating, with only the thin card board between the pipes, and all hard surfaces that the package bounces upon during transport. I have not had time to inspect the contents for damage, but will do so. These were all drop shipped directly from Kooks.
I bought my things from Brandon at Maryland speed. The first exhaust came with a dent (got kooks headers, catted mid-pipe and exhaust) and he took it back and sent me another one QUICK!!! He's a first rate vendor and stands behind his items ... I'd contact kooks if there is a problem with your items if not... Just hook 'em up an go !!!!
if it was ceramic coated, then id be MAD, but i dont think kooks sells like that directly,, sooo,, no dents, then just bolt em up!,,
p.s. did you go with the 3x3 or 3x2.5 midpipe?
I went with the 3 x 3 midpipe. I did not have time to inspect them yet. I mentioned to Kooks that these would not be installed for about 2 months, until I can put some break-in miles on my 08, before the install and tune. If I experience any issues, I will have to contact them during the time that they are being installed.

What are you saying here? Complaining about how the packaging looks, but haven't inspected the pipe for damage. What if it IS OK? Then this post is useless and just a bunch of rambling blah, blah, blah...
If it is damaged, then you have a valid complaint, but at least check the darn thing first......
