Took my stock 2005 LS2 into the dealership today to have a baseline dyno done before I start my mods...They say the car dyno'd 567rwhp@5489 rpm....and 545lbs ft of torque...I told them that is impossible and they said the dyno was right...my stock 2001 Z06 runs circles around my 05...something isn't right. They didn't provide a graph, just the numbers...and they entered the weight of the car at 6500lbs...which is obviously wrong...My question is...does the wrong weight being entered in cause the erroneous data? I figured the car should be around 340-350 rwhp stock....Can I use the data I have to recalculate using the accurate weight? Bloody Dodge dealerships....

Never seen a dealer with a Dyno ,yes it's way off.
Find a different dyno. If a dealer doesn't know those numbers are wrong, than he is a complete moron and doesn't need to be selling vettes, much less dynoing them.
I need the address of this dyno. My car would make 800+ rwhp then I could be an internet superhero! I agree with the posters... run as fast as you can from these people and if they charged you for that service get your money back.
Did that strap your car onto a machine? Or, did some tool put magic numbers in some desktop dyno.
I am speaking with the service manager there this morning....you bet your *** I will be asking for my money back...I took the numbers they gave me and did a simple calculation to adjust for the weight difference.....I came up with 321.5 rwhp Is that about right for a mustang dyno? I know the dynojet numbers should be in the 345 range...

Which dealership are you talking about?
Don Wheaton, Stedelbauer's, Competition, Jamie Hodgeson?

RWHP for 2005 should be in the 340 - 350 range on a Mustang Dyno. (My 2005 did 342 stock)
Your dyno operator is full of crap.
The wrong weight would have a significant impact on HP numbers.
