I'm still going to install the WCC bolts I bought for the rear, but I'm not as motivated now that the squeaking is gone.

Just spend the money and get the west coast bolts. It is to easy to do it right and be done with it. Just make shure to use some silicone grease and you wont have any issues.

Thank you.

Go to the autoparts store and buy a tin of axle grease. Then, jack up your car again and put a good size helping under those rubber bushings that you cut. No more squeaking. I did this a year ago at the advice of another member and it worked perfect. You may need to do this once a year, but who cares...it works and is super cheap. I bought the mobil 1 synthetic axle grease.

They do not fall right off. We have sold and installed hundreds of these and have never heard of this. We had these specifically created for our test mule C6 by a very reputable polyurethane suspension component manufacturer. They are an exact fit and have been copied by others, but by cheaper methods and materials.

i was thinking of just going a 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch,

i should be able to do that without cutting the bushings correct?

Default A Cautionary Note

However it may serve those unaware of the possible consequences... the following discovery is simply intended as a precautionary notice to anybody choosing/considering to perform such height adjustments.

All cars are different. You may get that much. You may not.
Only one way to find out.

The instruction say to disassemble the suspension, but I am assuming that they can be slipped right on if you take the pressure off the spring?

They are a pretty tight fit. The easiest way to do it is to drop the control arm, just unbolt the eccentric's and let the arm swing down.

They have a little lip around the edge that holds them in place. The only issue would be if you didn't cut enough of the bushing off, which would keep it from seating properly.

Yes they could. But that assumes that you can cut the bushing like that.
