Due to bad planning on my part I Installed a set of ARH 1 3/4 on my 07 prior to installing my Maggie S/C. My understanding is that the 1 7/8 is the preferred size for a blower car and it makes a lot of difference. Any opinions?

Yes it will make a big difference, but to your advantage 1 3/4 are easier to get rid of. Its a very popular mod and size (1 3/4)
I guarantee you sell them on this forum in a couple of days

Sorry I have to disagree.
If it wasnt worth it why would they make both 1 3/4 and 1 7/8???
They would make one or the other? Right?
The 1 3/4 are more low end torque for NA engines
The 1 7/8 are more mid and high end The last thing you need with a
maggie or other FI is more low end Would you agree??
FI cars have enough problems with traction, why add to it?

Yes it makes a difference but it's certainly not what I would call a BIG difference, especially with a stock motor and a Magnacharger. It's not like it's a 447 cubic inch motor with a big boost Procharger on it.
They make both size headers because there is a market for both. Those running big inch/big cammed motors, serious blower applications and/or big nitrous set ups often require the bigger headers and even this particular application will see some gains from them but it's not like it's a 50+ horsepower/torque difference between the two.

LG's headers are famous for their leading mid-range torque( not low end). Check out any dyno of a car equipped with LG's. While your at it go to the LG website and check out some of the racing videos there. All of Lou's cars are equipped with the 1 3/4 Pro Series Headers. He has alot of trophys in a room in his house. Those highwinding engines breathe alot better than a Maggie.Would you agree?

You are probably giving up a little hp in the top, but I doubt its worth the effort/costs to swap, retune etc...
