I am planning a few mods to my 05 Z51. Right now it is bone stock. I am thinking the first thing to add is an induction system...With past cars I have just gone with one system and hoped it was the best. But with most of these things running $500 I thought I would ask if anyone has a strong preference, or more importantly racetrack data that proves one system is better than the other...
The second thing I am changing is the stock shifter...I didnt like the one in my 03 Z06 and though it is much better, I want a little better shifter for my current car...I am thinking pretty seriously about the Calloway shifter...thoughts? And are they are easy to install as advertised...
The Vararam was my first mod. It improved my quarter mile time about 3 tenths. It works, had it for over a year now, not problems with driving in rain either.
I really like my Vararam. I've got the stock shifter in the C6, but I just put a Hurst in my C5. I always thought the C6 shifter was much better than the one in the C5 until I went with the Hurst. Just drove the C6 today for the first time after putting the Hurst in the C5, and now the stock shifter feels like junk. Oh well, there goes some more mod money
I must agree Vararam ALL the way
I pm ed you I have a used one with 1000 miles on it
for $200.00 plus 10 shipping
It beats paying 400+ like some advertise
