Default 160 Stat....Fan Settings?

Time to put a 160 stat in for the summer....and I have an 07 Z51 LS2. Anyone know the correct fan settings for the 160.????? Thanks for the help. Bill

Hey bill what are you trying to do??
Do you have HPTunes? EFI Live?
PredatorIII?
With hp tunes you can only go to 192*
But you can adjust the fan to come on all the time or part time,
at a lower speed if you like to keep the temp down.

There is no absolute magic number. Start the fan out at 35% @ 192 and ramp it up incrementally at each of the temp points until you're at 90% @ 203 and above..Works for me anyway..
My car, Idling in 95 degree temps will hold right at 203 with a 160 stat and not go any higher..

What happens if you install a 160 thermostat and do not change any settings?

You will rise rite up past 200 when sitting in traffic.
When I first installed mine I didnt have it tuned.
