Will the G5X1 cam pass emission sniffer? Just cam alone no other mods other than tune.

420 rwhp 400 rwtq

The classic, no-brainer, guaranteed-you-will-like it cam for a situation like yours is a 228/232 on Comp XER lobes with 114 LSA and 110 ICL (or "+4"). Usually written as 228/232 .588/.595 114. This will have a broad powerband, excellent peak power, good idle (not stock), peak power at about 6500, and be very easy to tune. You can't go wrong with this cam.

This is the cam I have along with the other items that go with it (Headers, Ported Intake & TB, and CAI). QM installed and Very Conservative tune. Was putting down close to 440 rwhp but I had them tune it down a bit. This is on a 05 C6 A4, so you may be able to get a little more out of it.

I’ve seen that you may be going to the QM Cookout next month… I am planning on being there also. You can check it out there if you haven’t made your mind up yet. I think “Mr. Big” will be there to, so you would be able to take a look at his monster.
