Has anyone decided to take their spacer off after having it for a while and running with just their VR?
It's been a while but I've installed/uninstalled my spacer a couple of times when I first got it and I seem to remember that when I didn't install the spacer, my gas mileage was considerably more. I put it back on, not wanting to sacrifice any performance and been running both for a year or so.
Anyway, going to try uninstalling it again and wanted to see if anyone noticed a difference.

Yeah i noticed a big difference.... with spacer gas milage was 10-12, without it, 18-20.... That thing is a POS, i doubt it gives you any noticible power (atleast i never noticed any difference) and I took it off, i am now happy averaging 18-19 in city driving, while getting on it more then i did when i had with the spacer. I think the reason for this is the air leak it caused because its made of flimsy rubber.

Thanks for the response Dima.
I'm sure the spacer does pretty much everything that they claim, but, my vette may be a little picky. Patrick called it running "pig rich" and says his does the same thing. At any rate, I'm going to take it off and see if the mileage jumps like I seem to recall it did before.
