Hello, I've read in the manual that I should not use METHANOL in my
C6. Drove to Idaho over the weekend and went to several gas stations and they all had "Contains 10 Percent Ethanol". Drove back into Washington approx 30 miles to get gas that did not have any Ethanol in it. I called the Dealership today and was told that "not so sure but will get you the info tomorrow" . Does any of you know if it is ok to use any Ethanol and is there some kind of additive to use.

It's o.k. to use 10% ethanol and you don't need any additives. People with older boats who fill up at land gas stations should be sure their boat fuel systems are o.k. to use with ethanol as it can affect fuel lines.
If you closely monitor your engine closely and it is tuned optimally, 10% ethanol will throw off your fuel trims by, coincidentally, +10%. Other than some more water production and power, you probably won't notice the difference. If I you have a choice, I avoid it.

However, it is getting difficult to find fuel in my area that does not state, "Contains up to 10% ethanol."
Thank you all. I got the answer back from the Dealership and was told it is ok. My concern is if something happens to the engine and it is fuel related will GM coved it or will I get screwed
