Default What mod next???

Currently I have an '07 C6 M6 with LG G5x3 cam, Callaway honker, ported FAST 90mm, LG Z06 Pro headers, and Z06 Bullets. I plan on staying NA. No plans for FI.

What should my next step be.....

Heads? If so what is recommended?
or
4.10s and built rear from DTE?

I take it to the strip once or so a month and if anyone trys to mess with me on the street I let them see what I have.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Andrew

Gears are great and alot of fun, they feel like 50 to 100 hp gain. Good Luck!

Andrew, you already know my opinion!!

But, I think you will find on hear that more people will be praising the almighty 4.10s (or 3.90s for those who insist on having a higher trap time) over heads.

I def. think you should do gears... and you already have the tires to hook up on the track, so its a win/win. Your car is going to pull like a monster with 4.10s! Trust me, you will not be displeased with 4.10s! Just ask any tech guy who knows his stuff....

Spin can chime in.

4.10's sound like the best idea so far. Just have to figure the cost on it now.

I looked at DTE site and they have a few different stages to go with. Google DTE Corvette and you will find the site. I sent them an email about what they recommend for my car and mods. Waiting on a reply from them unless a forum member on here can get me a price on 4.10's with hardened shafts.

Check your PM's

It is going to be a toss up between a lot of items.

If you are wanting to do road course work, then brakes would be a good item to start looking at, as well as some suspension items.

If you want more HP, a set of AFR 205's is the only way to go!

Gears are not a bad idea either.

His car is all straight line... Street/Track. I think its a toss up between heads and gears. But, I really think (especially because he goes to the track about once a month) he should do gears and a built rear. But, thats just my .02

Tires unless you already run drag radials full time. Gears next.

Default Do both gears and heads!

Do both gears and heads!
The L92 heads are only $175 each from Scoggin Dickey. You will need good quality 1 piece valves along with springs and retainers to complete the heads. You may be able to re-use the springs, retainers, and Ex rockers from your LS2 heads, but you will need new valves for the L92/LS3 heads as they are larger. You will need the LS3 offset intake rockers. You will also need to change the intake to an L76 as the L92 head intake port is a retangular port and the LS2 head in take port is a cathedral style.
Go for it!

He just bought a FAST. If he does heads, hes going to be spending some serious dough... I would bet he would be looking into AFRs. But, I agree... Heads/gears are def. the most appropriate next mods.

You are going to see more TQ with the AFR heads and the FAST intake, which he already has on the car vs. the L92/L76 setup. HP per $ you will see roughly the same gains with the L92 setup.
