I'm looking to replace the OEM tires on my C6. Possibly away from the run-flat's. However, a fellow Vette owner informed me the sensors that send air pressure information to the computer may not work with non run-flat tires. Just trying to cover my basis before making the move. Thanks for you assistance.
get the invo's they rock and they are way less money than other options.
He is mistaken. they just sense aire pressure. Make sure you go to a shop that has worked with them before. as long as you keep the same sensor postition you litterally just dismount and remount and your done.
if the shop were to swap the sensor to the oposite side ( ie right senor to the left side) you have to reset the sensor position.
Also make sure they don't break them or something during dismount. the sensor kind of hangs down into the wheel. I have had mixed luck with tire shops in my home town so I watch them carefully now.

No issue at all.....the sensors work perfectly well with RF's or non-RF's. Just a caution though....mark the wheels very clearly for location, i.e. LF, RF, LR, RR....so that they go back on in the right position.
