I have two weeks left in NY and not much time for anything big. I am still taking orders for modded FAST manifolds and can get them turned around in 3-4 days.
Ithink I am heading back this way for a H/C install in Boston again but thats still in the planning stage for Joe.
Perhaps you can head up there and he will allow your car to be modded there the same week.

Powerlabs, If Spin wants to do your car when he does my Z06, no problem. Spin has complete access to anything in my garage because he is SPIN. The Garage Mahal is Spin's East Coast mod garage, if he want's it.
From: Greater Detroit Metro MI, when I'm not travelling.

You guys are awesome!
Let me know if and when you guys will be doing this and what I should bring. I'm a pretty good mechanic myself so I can bring my own tools, torque wrenches, etc and won't really get in the way of your car being modded

Its free for me to do lots of things to your car but if you help its 200 an hour.
There are times to save a few $$$s and times to invest in insurance. Head fasteners surely fall into the latter camp. Another non-vette high boost experience to second the post from Powerlabs above. ALL of the serious racers in my local turbo buick club (plug: MAGNA) have been running high quality (and ARP fits that bill) head studs for years for their stretch resistance and ease of use. My friends and I install them on all of the head porting jobs we do, no matter whether the car is a 12-second occasional racer or a low-9-second stroker. As spin notes, good fasteners are good insurance!
I'd also note that we've had great luck with the Cometic MLS head gaskets that spin used here on 25+psi cars making 700+ to the wheels (and lots of turbo Buick torque!!). We have found that they demand a VERY smooth head and block surface to be leak-free and hold over time (50 RA per Cometic's specs, but our machinist goes to 10-15 for aluminum heads and 20 for irons), but they really work well. If there's anything better out there we haven't found it yet (and that includes
