Z06 mufflers

My turn!

I just had a Z06 muffler set installed on my '07 coupe. The Magnaflow set came off and is for sale in the parts for sale area.
The Z06 in the open position is not too loud, that is good ... and it surprised me how civilized it sounds. We pushed the valves closed to see how much it changes the sound at idle .. quite a bit!
Now I need to install the NPP in a box. Ordered already , just gotta get here so I can play and keep Darling Wife happy too! Uh, that is in reference to car sound!

So how does it compare to your magnaflows in the open/closed position?

refer to post above.

Open is close to Magnaflow ... but a bit more quiet. Closed is more quiet than stock LS2. At least at idle. Don't have the NPP yet, still waiting.

Can the Z06 mufflers be installed on an 07 coupe, automatic, without any alterations ? And does the NPP in a box work well ?

Yes they can be installed on a A6. I have them on mine and it is a simple process to hook up the npp system to close the valves.
