Need help with upgrading tires
It's time to change my tires on my 2007 z51 coupe. I would like to upgrade to wider tires for handling purposes. My question is what are the best combinations (fitting original rims) for the upgrade?

IIRC the 305/30 is shorter than your stock 285/35. The 295/35 is slightly taller than the 285/35 but with the 275/35R18 front it seems to run fine and fills the F & R wheel wells very nicely.
The KDW2's are working great after 1500 mi. on my modded C6 Z51 A6 coupe, they handle well, no noise, excellent traction from a start.

If you go with wider tires, you will need wider rims, or else the handling may deteriorate with poor turn in. This can decrease the lateral stability of the vehicle. Adding wider tires or wider tires & wheels will increase the unsprung mass, which could have a negative effect on handling.
