Tuned using Efilive not Hpt sry mate, my car is making good power high 400's but weight 3900 lbs. We ran 11.83 last out with a 1.64 60' but lost a few tenths due to hitting limiter twice during run.
Your Vettes are going to fly with a similar setup.
cheers
I just checked EFILive's site and their software is available for download. Even though I could never load a tune, if you did send me yours I would at least be able to see the kind of changes you made. If you'd rather not that's cool but if you were able to I'd really appreciate it.
Ok so I got some good brand advice but I have some questions on how it actually works. So please can somebody educate me on how a torque converter works and what the difference in the sizes are like the difference between a 2400 and a 3200. Thanks for the help.
I think your question was answered at least I hope it was. So if no one minds, I would like to jump in and ask another question about Torque Converters.
Is the torque converter predominantly for the strip or does it play a major role in the performance of the car on the street as well, when the car has been bumped to let say 420 RWHP or more?

It helps from a roll too as the rpms will not drop as much on the upshifts.
Torque converters are a huge benefit in all conditions. They are downright vicious on launches the necessary upgrade in tires is required. From a roll, they really help in keeping up with manual tranny cars. With the SS4000 Yank Converter in my TA, I could easily hold my own against 6-speed Camaros with similiar mods.
