Default titanium retainers

Posted in the General Section, but got no love.. what say you?

hello all.

im looking for some titanium retainers for the PAC-1518 Springs. (which are a drop in spring)

i found some for the comp 918 springs, which use the same design, just differnt metal used. on the LPE website

think they will fit?

the only this, the titanium retainers alone are 244 bucks,

the patriots dual gold springs kit includes the titanium retainers and its only 255 bucks!! does this make anysense?

any input appreciated.

p.s. i did search but no luck..

-carl

oh and im going with the pac-1518 springs because they are half the weight of the dual springs.... =P

I've got PAC 1218's, same spring without the nitride coating.

I'm using comp 772-16 titanium retainers (which are for the comp 918's) and they fit great. They are so much lighter than stock I think its worth it.

Titanium retainers at the RPM's that our LS motors run at are kind of a feel good mod. You feel good because you have them. In my humble opinion you won't be able to measure the performance difference with or without them. They could possibly increase available RPM range (controls valve float) by a couple of hundred RPM's assuming that the motor needs the extra RPM's to reach it's power range. Otherwise they are just cool to have.
