Joe your tried and proven g5x3 just sounds great. All you need is a ported fast and you will easily make 450 +. I know im going to a cam soon and it will be in there to stay. Weather I get another fast will depend if and when they come out with one for the l92 heads. Leon
Bunk, I think 450 HP would be a faitly easy targer for you. You got good bolton base numbers to start with. The only thing that comes into my mind is the fact that you have the 1.85 rockers and you are anticipating on going th a cam with 612 lift Im sure you thaught of this
and it may be a problem. Maybe you are putting the stock 1.7's back
on when you make the cam swap. The porting of your fast will be that much better with your new cam. I do wish you the best of luck with it.

Actually got myself a set of Harland Sharp 1.7 rockers. Hard part is selling the 1.85 rockers and springs. I might have a buyer and if so, might go ahead and have my FAST ported same time. Problem is, won't see the before and after gains.

What exhaust did you have before you went back to stock? and how unbareable was it? I used to have an SS with H/C, gears, and it was with headers, no cats, and downpipes... It was pretty ridiculous, but I loved it and kept it that way. Although, I am kinda worried about how the cam is gunna sound with the bullets... hopefully I will like it, alot!

The cam on the SS wasn't as big as the G6.
I had Borla Stingers on my C5 - that was outrageous with the cam, much like your B&B I think. Way too much for me.
I had Magnaflow 14336 mufflers on my C6, they were a bad choice from day one. Too quiet at idle and WOT but a terrible drone at 60 mph.
Stock with cutouts is my favorite. My buddy put on NPP - it's a great choice too. I personally like the sound of the turndowns of the cutouts better than the NPP sound, but that's a personal preference, both are good. The cutouts are cheaper, but you have to figure in replacing the motors about once a year ($35 and 3 bolts, easy to do).

Xstang, are those numbers (446/415) with a ported FAST only? It's not that I doubt you, but those numbers seem pretty high with a FAST only. Any other mods? Also, I'm guessing it's an MN6, is that right?

The gains were from a unported fast with tuning... The car was leaned up 1 pont as well, but I gained 24\28 with that one bolt on...

Thanks. I didn't catch that. Judging from the numbers, must be boltons,Fast, and a cam with stock heads. Close? I like the results Forum members are getting. It will be my next mod.

Gotcha 24/28 sems to be about right for the FAST. You mentioned it was "like adding headers all over again." Does that mean the 446/415 numbers was with FAST & Headers with a Tune?

xstang's 05 was heads and cam IIRC. He ran some pretty good times with it, here's his record on the c6 FAST list and the post reference to that thread.
