Default Which Cometic gaskets for LS3?

Just bought an LS3 crate motor to replace my blown-up LS1. I'm going to cam it, and want to bump the compression as much as I can with thinner head gaskets. Anybody got a recommendation as to Cometic part numbers? Anyone know what the piston-to-deck measurement is on an LS3?

Thanks for any help ...

We stock the Cometic head gaskets for the LS3 engines in a 4.085" bore size, and they are currently on sale for $139.99 + shipping. We typically use a .045" thickness gasket, but other thicknesses are available. The .045" thickness gasket would give you a comfortable safety margin and net an optimal quench of ~.038" assuming that the piston is .007" out.

Feel free to give us a call with any questions or concerns.
