Installing Stock Nav
Im planning to install a stock 08 nav into a 08 C6 with stock 6cd radio, HUD, Bose and onstar,,Any help as far as installation?
1. Do I simply unplug existing radio and plug into nav unit?
2. I need to install the nav antenna, where do I put "satellite" end
3. How many roatl plug ins do I have to connect
4. Any instructions what and where to connect
Will I need to go to the stealership??? Thanks

Forum member "bub" is doing this in his C6Z right now, so he should have some good info for you.
Yes, you'll need the dealer to "activate" the radio with a Tech 2 by putting it into the RPO code options list so the car recognizes it, and your VIN will have to be associated with it for theft detterent purposes.
