Default Dealer WTF

My 05 z51 has 35k miles on it and suddenly started to fall apart.

Last week: active steering sensor, column lock sensor and new horn/fuse/battery. The horn was broken and draining the battery...

This week: clutch pedal springs popped out into the f-ing footwell. Clutch pedal feels like mud. Blown water pump gasket, needs new pump.

Ok, so I get the car back, they say the clutch pedal springs were replaced. BUT, the clutch pedal feels more like mud than it did before.

Am I crazy? I step into a new vette that they have there, a zo6 and then a normal c6. Even the normal c6 clutch pedal is springy, not like mud. I tell the supervisor something is wrong, he drives it around the block and insists everything is normal and as it should be. NOW I KNOW THEY ARE TAKING ME FOR A RIDE. I go to the manager and raise bloody hell, all he does is offer an inspection to make sure it's all correct. I'm sitting there telling him I drove the car 30k miles, when the spring popped out it felt bad, now it feels worse when it should feel normal. MAKE IT RIGHT. But they insist it's correct.

WHAT IS GOING ON? IF IT'S CORRECT WHY DOES MY CLUTCH PEDAL FEEL LIKE DONKEY DOO.

this place is supposed to be the "corvette king of san diego". They have all kinds of vettes all over their lot. They should know how to service a flipping corvette. It makes my blood boil the way they toy around with us.

I took it to their body shop for repair and I had to take it back to them 4 times to get it right. They left gravel under the clearcoat, tore the headlight gasket, etc, and expecting me not to notice!!!!!

If the name stall comes to mind, then the other name excelsior motorsports should, too. Haven't seen them personally, but search for the name here on C6 and you will find them. If not them, give Top Flight, or The Corvette Shop a call.

Why don't you sell the car? Sounds to me like you don't like it anymore.

Your explanation of what your clutch problem is needs improvement. What the heck does "mud" mean?
