when installing HUD should i ???
Im going to be installing my HUD unit soon and im wondering should i disconect the battery or not ?
Im thinking if i donti might get an error code on my car .

unless you want an airbag to blow your face off, or drive the screwdriver in your hand through your forehead, i would definitely disconnect the battery and disable the airbags.

Disconnect your battery and pull the airbag fuse. It's easy to do and adds quite a bit of security. I just did the install last weekend so if you have any questions feel free to PM me and I'll give you my number.
