How thick is the stock head gasket? What are the options (and where) for getting a thinner gasket?

The stock GM head gasket for the LS2 is .051 thick
Cometic has several different thickness avaliable, from .036 and up, check their website

Great question, kaislick. I was curious about that one also. I'm in the process of doing the L92/L76, heads milled 0.020. The consensus forced me to choose the stock gasket with my combo. I just didn't know the stock gaske thickness.
