Was going to remove it as soon as I got the vette, but never got around to it. A year and a half later now, I've learned to cope with it and try to use it to my advantage sometimes.
I've been advised by nearly everyone, including my museum delivery guy to install the cags eliminate mod. In nearly 8,000 miles I've only had the cags feature engage about 3 or 4 times, but with the LED fuse I finally decided to do the mod. Haven't driven the car since I changed out the fuse yet...
I use the kit...I thought I could learn to work around it, but the thing would kick in when I thought it was not suppose to and when it turn on it was the worse time too...like when turning into moving traffic
From: Greater Detroit Metro MI, when I'm not travelling.
Mine had the CAGS elimination kit and then I had it tuned out via HP Tuners. What is weird is that even though the tune removed it I still got a check engine light when my CAGS elimination kit broke. I pulled it off and now its done by the kit only. One day I'd like to get the solenoid off my car too; it was leaking oil some time ago and I had to take it to the dealership to get it replaced.

What a worthless thing.
Keep it simple - get rid of the cags elimination selenoid and do the fuse...one less thing to worry about.
