hello everyone i have a quick ? i own a auto and boat detailing business and we have done quite a few c6s and zos when i clean the interior it almost seems like it looks foggy like their is a white film on the door panels and dash, i have been in business for over 10 years and i just cant figure it out, does anybody have any better ways ??????? please
I use Aerospace 303 cleaner or Zaino leather cleaner and finish with Aerospace 303 protectant for the doors and dash. Have never run into the "white film" issue.

well, I used 303 on the ebony dash, and I kinda see what OP is saying. it's not pronounced but it might be a little more than what it was when new. just remember that this isn't what I'd call a normally 'shiny' dash to begin with. it has a very low gloss when new and almost a slightly rubbery feel with nothing on it.
my guess ( and it's just a guess) since all plastics release solvents into the air, whatever you're using may be reacting with the plastics very slightly. try the 303 and see if it helps.
I'm going to go and wash off my dash with very clean water and rag several times. and then re-apply 303. we'll see if that helps.
hey thanks so much for the info.... i will have to try this 303, and sorry if i posted in the wrong spot im new to the site but i will be here alot mad mason
I put armorall on mine but doesnt last long. The grey powderlike stuff on the dash is a problem and I bought a bunch of care care products at Carlisle inc a CALIFORNIA DUSTER and from BORLA the stuff to clean my exhaust tips.
My car is a 'vert & stays in the garage 90% of the time, I do drive top down a lot, but when I park the car top goes up. Anyway, I have never used an actual cleaning product, just warm clean water on a microfiber towel & I get the white hazing on the dash & door panels (too a much lesser extent). I thought it might be mold. So this is common? In my case it's definately not a by product of cleaning products. Any body else have an answer?
I believe it is the vinyl just giving off gasses. I just wipe mine down with a wet micro fiber towel and it is fine. Have seen lots of c 6's with this same white film on the dash and door tops.
I've found that Mcguiars water based ultimate interior cleaner/protectant seems to cut down on the white film, but its pretty common in C6s, at least with the ebony interiors. It is easy enough to clean up (also use plain water or water with ~10% non-sudsing ammonia) but will reappear in short order. YMMV
