I put a set of the Kumho runflats on my '01 coupe in July. Besides the price break they are quieter and provided a nicer ride. The Goodyears that came off the car had 30,000 miles and were 7 years old. I sold the car in August and drive an '08 coupe now.
I have them on my car and I like them. Car rides smoother and I've not noticed any loss of grip in my daily drive. I find them to be great street tires. And I can get two sets for one set of the Goodyears. I like that math.
Bear in mind I don't really test the limits on the street, maybe a quick highway entrance ramp once in a while, but once I started tracking with Nitto 555RII tires I realized that any street tires are like ice skating in sneakers compared to R rated tires.
I purchased the Conti tire kit with sensor safe sealer and a compressor from Tire Rack since they aren't runflats. It fits right behind the waterfall in a vert just fine.
have it right now on my car, had Khumos before on my C5. Great tires, great price
Have the run flats on the front of my '07 coupe.....Love them!!!! They are quiet (imagine that) and handle bumps a lot better. One thing of note, the GY's left no marks in my concrete driveway when the wheel was turned, the Kuhmo's do.....I attribute this to a softer tread compound which may equate to less miles until they are worn out.....The jury is out for now......
I have them on my C6. They seem to give a slightly softer ride because the sidewalls are not as stiff as runflats. I noticed that right away. Also more quiet. Grip seems to be as good as the runflats, maybe better.
Just installed a set. I will let you know in a year or two. The runflats were great tires. They lasted 18k miles with numerous drag races and autocrosses on them.
It's hard to compare them at this point since I went from a nearly bald set of runflats to brand knew Kumhos. Of course the first thing I noticed was that they stick better.
Have you tride them? What do you think? Shure are the right price $212.00 ea at Tire Rack! Thanks in Advance
Take a look at Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval RFT run flats.
I put front and rear on for $900.00 including balance and road hazard warranty.
The store starts at $1255.00 but will compete with other company's prices.
I went to Discount tire and got a price for Kuhmo RFTs for the front and Goodyear RFTs for the back for $970.00.
Firestone said they would match that price. When I went into the store they had a sign that said "open an account and get 10% off" . Thats how I wound up at $900.00. These tires are made by Bridgestone and really ride great on my 06 C6 Vert.
If you do a search on "Firestone tires" here on the forum you will find a lot of feedback thats real positive.

Great tire.. On my 4th vette. Been through PS2's, GY F1 Supercars, BFG KDW's, you name it.. The Firestone wear much better, seem to perform very well (cutting 1.8x at the track) and are FAR more affordable.. I will buy more when these are done.

I would have bought these as I like having runflats...but the fronts were on national backorder for MONTHS...finally my front tires started showing cords so I had to buy tires and went with the Kumhos.
