I'm going to be putting Ceramic pads in a couple of 09 Z06's. I've always put brake lube on the back of pads where the pistons contact them (in addition to on the pins). Does anyone know if this is correct or if there is anything special I should know about changing the Z06 pads?
I've seen the thread recently where a guy showed pics of the retainer, but there were no comments on lube points. Thanks for any and all advice.
Have you prices Z06 pads yet? You can buy a great deal of wheel cleaner for what they cost!
Yes, about $230 a set for all four corners. It's not the money, it's the aggravation. I drive across town and the wheels look like they have a first cost of rusty primer on them.

That's a good deal. The ones I priced were $600. $230 makes sense.
