I have a 2008 Z06 with 360 Forged 3-Piece wheels that I just added. Tire pressure sensors worked fine for about a week...then this 'odd' thing happend while driving over to Tampa:
My Tire ! came on the dash with a 'check tire' warning.
All my tire pressures read like this Rear Right XX Rear Left XX
Funny part is, at the shop they can pull the pressures from the CPM and not only that, but the OnStar is picking up my pressures too and can see them on the diagnostics, so the car IS reading them.
Which means the tires are being monitored, but the Dash won't display the pressures and is throwing a fault.
The dealership insists it's due to 'aftermarket' wheels...but how am I getting two pressure reads?
Was the left front sensor put in the left front, right front sensor in the right front, and so on? I am not sure if this makes a difference but I remember reading something about this. Any other opinions.
