Am in the process of installing headers that came with both hi-flo cats, which is what I am going to use, and off road pipes. Problem is collector end of header and converter pipe is almost exactly same size. Much time spent with dremel tool, heat, block of wood and rubber mallet have rendered no positive results. Almost to point that converter end is distorted. I know this a mfg. problem and am sure they will look after it however in meantime I am going to use off road pipes. (Don't get excited this is only a temp measure so I can use vette. This time of year we don't have much driving left.
My question is, when using off road pipe what do we do with rear o2 sensor. Is there any sense in hooking it up cause its only inches away from front o2. What kind of readings am I going to create if I hook it up? If I don't hook it up.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
On the fitment, a $15 pipe expander from Harbor freight worked wonders on making my (used) LG Pros fit perfectly..
You can turn off the rear O2's if you have a tune program..
