Default 402 block question about compatability between C5 and C6

I'm wanting to put a LS2 402 in my 2006 C6 manual and I found a complete 402 from a C5 for sale with all supporting mods.

Will this hook up to my C6? If so what would I need to purchase extra to swap out the motors? Thanks!

You could get a set of ported LQ9 heads which would drop the compression down some. Then you can boost it to 10 and be OK. I wasn't sure which car you were talking about until you linked it to that ad in Craigslist. You could use that block, I believe its a good engine from Texas Speed, and it made decent power on my dyno.

A C5 uses a 24x reluctor wheel and the 2006 needs a 58x.
