Default Vac. source for Z06 mufflers???

I tried the search but didn't find the answer. I thought that there was a source on the back side of the intake. There is a plugged port next to the brake booster line. Is this where most are getting vaccum for the Z06/NPP mufflers? Car is a 2005 A4 with the Z06 mufflers. No retro kit yet. It's in the plan of mods though. I've got the intake off now so I can port it and found what looks to be a plugged vaccum port. Wanting to know if I should run a line from this port while the intake is off and it's easy to access.
Thanks

Use a NPP in a box kit and you don't have to mess with all that.

The thin single line with the "t" cap is what Chevy uses, just break the cap off and attach the line.

The kit I sell NPP in a box developed over a year ago will provide you everything you need to operate the NPP or Z06 mufflers. www.nakidparts.com

As I recall, some folks found that vacuum source hard to find. Something about the difference from one year 'vette to another,
I used Ed's NPP in a box and it was a piece of cake, works as advertised and I didn't have to run line from fore to aft. NPP-in-a-box with M2W is the ticket!
