Need help on cleaning my Vararam filter...

can someone please walk me through on how to take out the Vararam filter on my 08 LS3 ..i undid the rubber latches but im not sure on how to take it out...some say i have to undo the whole thing ( what ever that is) to get it out...im not sure if i have to undo the bolts that hold down the clamps or what...thanks Mike

There may be an easier way but mine is in there pretty tight. I have taken mine on and off several times just playing around and it gets easier with experience.
