So, I order 1 3/4" coated long tube Kook's headers + 3 X 2 1/2" catted x-pipe. This will then mate up to the 2008 NPP stock exhaust?

This is correct-

The reason is-
C6 X-pipe 3" x 2.5" (PT#6608S) necks down in the middle to 2.5"

C6 X-pipe 3" x 3" (PT#6609S) that you ordered is 3" most of the way through and necks down at the very end right before the axleback to 2.5"

Z06 X-pipe 3" x 3" (PT# 6611S) is 3" all the way through and will fit a regular C6 w/ a Z06 exhaust.
