Default Help with 2 codes

I was pulling into my nieghborhood this AM and my little yellow "engine" light came on and the car would not shift. I guess a sort of limp mode.

Anyway, I hooked up scan tool and get these 2 codes:
P2715
P0700

Wondering if anyone has had this sequence before and what the outcome was.

Thanks!

Well, I cleared codes, took it around the block a few times, put in S mode, worked paddles, everything seems to be working fine. Got home hooked scanner up, no codes.

I will run it a while and see what happens. If it does it again, I guess she goes to the dealer.

Had this exact problem today. Did seem like a limp mode, two gears working, maybe 2nd and 6th depending on the speed. Paddle mode no function. After restart problem was gone. P2715 code. Will clear tomorrow and hopefully never see again.

Had the same problem today. Car would only run in 1st gear and paddles wouldn't work either so I pulled over and turned off. When I turned back on I still had the CEL but car ran normally and shifting was fine. After 3 drive cycles the light went away on its own. Very weird.
