convertible 1/4 times
gonna run my 05 A4 vert 3:15 gear,still on runflats tommorow for the first time I have a vararam intake and Diablo Predetor with just there standard tune applied , what kind of times do you think i should run ?

I just ran mine last tues, What a pig! 13.22@107.49, and for those who think its driver error I ran 13.13 @106.3 with my bone stock a4 99 vert and i also have a big block 106mm turbo GN that I ran8.90 @ 166.58 on radials. I really thought this 05 would have run maybe 111 or 112. the air wasnt really that bad. this 60 were off alittle but thats not gonna effect my poor trap speed. Does this seem like an average speed for a vert? aside from a 60 degree day NOBODY was gonna get anymore MPH outa this thing! I even let it sit for about an hour and shot up to the box. It just seems weird to me that my 345HP 99 ran almost the same MPH as the 400HP. Oh in case anyone here went to the us nationals here in Indy, That was my GN on the Valvoline chassis dyno. Dyno Dan hooke dit up and gave it a spin!

So what mph are the a4 verts running? I still cant beleive that this thing is only good for 107.5mph I keep seeing on here that so and so ran 117mph and so forth but what are the a4s running? I also see that the a6 runs pretty good too. IMHO there is no way this ls2 should run almost the same mph as my 345hp ls1 ..Unless this car is 400 pounds heavier than my c5 vert

pretty happy my best was a 12.57 @110 most all others were all 12.6,highest was a 12.8 with my 18 yr old son driving,and was on the runcraps, so now i got the bug a little late but i can,t wait to get my procharger bolted up

I have a 05 Coupe with me in it the weight is 3340 right after a run.. its stock except for a 160 T Stat.. its A4
My best run was 12.52 @ 112 mph on the street tires... I switched to Drag Radials and it slowed down to 13.07 @ 109 mph .. I've been told its the Torque Management retarding the timing because the tires HOOKED hard.. and I have a stock converter..
I imagine your car is app 200 lb. heavier than mine,, I weigh 175..after you run be sure to try to go over the scales if your track has them..

I SAW 2 Convertables run 13.1 to 13.3 all night at Moroso when it was open last year. They were running against me at the time and were unhappy with their times. They said they were new to the game but both still ran ran low 13's. They did run a 12.9x later in the night but it wasn't against me and I actually saw the 12.9 run.
