Default drive train strength

At what rwhp does the strength of the rear diff and A6 trans become threatened? I'm deciding on a Vortech V3 S trim blower and differential change to 3:15s or 3:42s. Can I go that radical and not jeopardize my otherwise stock drivetrain? Thank you in advance for any advice.

PM Chuck Cow, I think around 600 RWHP is about it for the tranny. He Mods cars everyday...

depends on what you wanna do with it. if you drag race that A6 is on limited time in the mid 400s, but on the street it will take alot more

Hey man...When programmed (tuned) PROPERLY it takes a hell of a beating....

When you add my 3.42 A6 ATTACK PACKAGE it not only makes the vehicle MUCH FASTER...but it takes a significant amount of load off of transmission so she'll last much longer....

Steeper gears ALWAYS improve performance and make your drivetrain happy!

PLUS, I can also do the 08' A6 ATTACK TUNE for the 06 and 07 Vehicles.

You can't lose.
