They sure did start the dyno run at higher rpms. I would have started it around 1500rpm to show off the day to day tq that puppy delivers. Looks great!

I went with the RK Sport hood because it is subtle and doesn't say look at me. Most people won't even know the hood is aftermarket.

Here are some pics before paint. I'll post up some pics once I get it back.

Nice blower! Maggie FTW! I also noticed your snout pulley. I had Jim do some little fabrication work for me on a couple of things. He sure does make awesome pulleys!

Is that a 112 or 122 blower? How much boost? 450+ft/lbs from 3500 on up is pretty sick. Bet it's going to push that vette around very nicely!!

You don't have to if you cut your stock hood so the maggie stick through a bit. I've seen pictures and it doesn't too bad, but I'd tend to go with an aftermarket hood.

There's a guy around town who has a PT Cruiser with a fake blower sticking out of his hood. I looked at the car when I saw it at the store, and it was glued to the hood

another dumb one: Do you have to change the hood if you go with a non-roots type blower, like a Procharger??

My goal was to get to 480 - 500 rwhp.... the more hp the more unreliable it gets. I've also read that the A6's have let go at around 550 rwhp. I know you are at 600 or so, but I've had many modded cars and I just don't have the best luck.... I told my wife that I was going to keep this one stock and look what happened...LOL!

Centrifugal superchargers do not require aftermarket hoods, but the maggie needs more room.

Like mentioned, I am looking for a fun street car that will still stay reliable.

2006 C6 A6 Z51
2.56 gears
maggie 112
3.0 reichard pulley
7lbs of boost
Borla Stinger exhaust
Stock: heads, cam, exhaust manifolds, cats

I was hoping for 500 rwhp, but will need some headers and high flow cats to get there.
